Sheila began her journey in the medical field as an RN in 1981. Her practice focused on critical care, both adult and pediatric bedside care, and management. Obtaining her Critical Care Registered Nurse Certification, she utilized her experience in education at the hospital level and as a guest lecturer for continuing education programs. Her management experience included a large open-heart recovery room and ICU where she helped make history participating in the care of the world’s first longest living artificial heart recipient. In 1991, Ms. Beasley entered graduate school to pursue a degree in anesthesia. For over 25 years, Ms. Beasley has practiced in a variety of anesthesia settings and brings her experience and knowledge to our clinic, and our patients. Since 2000, Ms. Beasley has traveled annually to the Dominican Republic to provide anesthesia care to underserved and impoverished communities. Her faith and family are central to who she is and have led to her desire to minister to those in pain. She is excited to bring this new and innovative Ketamine therapy to the Tri-cities area.
